Entire “squadrons” of UFOs have reportedly been seen flying in the skies over the Ukrainian capital.

Researchers from the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine report unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) have been detected “everywhere” over Kyiv and surrounding villages.

They come in two types, according to a paper uploaded recently. ‘Phantoms are ” dark objects” 3-12m long spotted flying up to 12km high in the troposphere, travelling up to 15km a second. That’s faster than escape velocity, and faster than NASA’s Artemis mission ships will go.

They’re completely black, reflecting none of the light or radiation that falls on them, the paper said.

Cosmics, in contrast, are “luminous objects, brighter than the background of the sky”.

“We observed a broad range of UAPs everywhere,” the Ukrainian scientists said. “We state a significant number of objects whose nature is not clear.”

The obvious explanation is that they’re Russian, and part of the larger nation’s ongoing war against Ukraine. The Ukrainians didn’t speculate what their source might be.

The UFOs were found using two observation posts – one in Kyiv, the other in the village of Vinarivka, to the south.

The US has recently upped its efforts in the UFO space, but is refusing to release most of its UAP videos, citing national security. It believes rather than outer space, it’s possible the objects are advanced technology built right here on Earth – perhaps by “China, Russia, another nation, or a non-governmental entity”.
